F5 show was totally awesome.

I attended the F5 show, courtesy of Robert Leger who graciously hooked me up with tickets.  I went with illustrator Miri D’Oro.  It was held at the Roseland Ballroom for 2 days, and was packed with all the big names from Neil Huxley, Onesize, Kid Koala, Nathan Love, Buck, etc.  It was truly an inspiring conference and I am proud to have attended.  I gained a lot of insight into visual communication, met a bunch of cool new people, and had a good time!  I am attaching several pictures of the event below.

In other news, I have been doing some freelance work for several small firms but there is nothing to post since the work is pretty general and not a study in technique, an exploration into the new, or an insight into the art.  I have also been working at GoldRun because my slate was open for April and May and I think GoldRun is a neat idea and it will get big in the coming year.  GoldRun is co-owned by Vivian Rosenthal who also co-owns Tronic Studio.  How cool is that!?!  I am working on video and CG assets to be used in GoldRun’s Augmented Reality application that can be found on iTunes.  I have curbed my studies, but I feel reinvigorated with the warm weather and the early daybreak.  I promise to discuss my next project soon!
