It is hard to develop the eye for topology and clean quads. I am okay with spotting poles and pentagons but triangles are a challenge because they just don’t want to go away. Sometimes I am tempted to just leave a triangle alone and think it wouldn’t be such a bad thing because if you divide a quad, you end up with 2 triangles and EVERYTHING breaks down into triangles no matter how complex the shape is.
But no. I must stay disciplined.
